Leonie's aim is to offer a healing space, providing support for reflection and discovery. through a unique, creative, mind-body wellness program.
Wellness is much more than merely physical health, exercise or nutrition. It is the full integration of the states of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Our workshop includes social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical wellness. Each of these seven dimensions act and interact in a way that contributes to our own quality of life. Our wellness days also sometimes focus on engaging in complementary mindfulness practices such as a Sound Bath therapy (led by Denise Hill of Joyful Healing), to help you reduce stress, improve your attention and focus, boost your immune system, cultivate positive emotions and promote a general sense of well-being.
Mindfulness and meditation are skills that help to decrease stress, increase awareness and concentration while helping us to maintain balance through times of increasing demands, change and uncertainty. Participants also learn key meditation tips and be part of guided meditations that put you in touch with your inner resources, including seated meditation, moving meditation practices and awareness activities that help us to cultivate a sense of presence, focus and inner peace.
