Counselling Qualifications & Experience:
In 2011 Leonie began studies at the the Tivoli Institute in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, and qualified in 2015 with an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy. She is fully accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and works in accordance with their Code of Ethics. She was a member of the counselling team at An Cosán in Tallaght, Dublin for five years.
Leonie currently works in private practice and is actively taking on new clients at this time.
Leonie had always hoped to combine her dance teaching skills with therapy and it was in 2015 & 2016 that she studied The Dance of Life third-level course intensively at the International Institute for Dance Therapy in Tenerife, with the esteemed psychologist and creator of the Dance of Life programme, Petra Klein. Leonie had trained from the age of three at the Dex McGloughlin School of Dance in Dublin, and continued her studies in Ballet, Modern, Theatre and International Folk Dance at the Deborah Capon School of Dance in Whitstable, Kent, U.K. She danced and sang professionally in the late 1980s and 1990s and qualified as an associate graduate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance in 1996. She has been awarded the AISTD diploma. From 1996 until 2006 Leonie ran her own dance schools in Dublin, Kildare and Wexford. She also taught dance in various primary schools in south Dublin and choreographed many musicals, concerts and ballet performances over the years.
Leonie attends refresher Dance of Life dance therapy courses in Tenerife every year, to maintain her professional CPD levels.

Matt Cox Originally from South Africa, Matt arrived in Ireland to follow his passion for health and fitness. He worked for 22 years in various sectors of the Health and Fitness industry, until finding his true calling - and qualified as a Neuromuscular Physical Therapist in 2014.
Since then he has worked with Anne Sexton Pilates, Greystones Tennis Club, Greystones Athletic Club, and the Rathdrum Rugby Club, eventually opening his own practice at Shoreline Sports Park in Charlesland.
